Prepare the Wing Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together minced garlic, olive oil, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, water, sesame oil, sesame seeds, ginger, and honey (if using).
Sear the Wings: Preheat a cast iron skillet over medium heat. Add a touch of oil to the skillet and sear the chicken wings for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Bake the Wings: Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Transfer the seared wings to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the glaze generously over the wings. Bake for ~20 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C). Flip halfway through and apply more glaze if desired.
Alternative Cooking Method: Use an air fryer set to 400°F (200°C) for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Cook the Broccoli: While the wings are baking, steam or roast the broccoli. For roasting, toss broccoli with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and bake on a separate sheet at 400°F (200°C) for ~15 minutes or until tender.
Assemble and Serve: Plate the wings and broccoli together. Optionally drizzle any leftover glaze over the broccoli for added flavor.
