Prepare Ingredients: Chop the onions and carrots. Season the brisket with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides.
Sear the Brisket (optional but recommended): Heat 1 tbsp of avocado oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the brisket on both sides until browned (about 2 minutes per side). Transfer the seared brisket to the crock pot.
Add Ingredients to the Crock Pot: Add the chopped onions, bone broth, orange juice, and seasoning to the crock pot. Place the carrots on top or around the brisket.
Cook: Cover and cook on Low for 8–10 hours or High for 4–6 hours until the brisket is tender and the carrots are soft.
Warm the Baked Beans: About 30 minutes before serving, warm the baked beans on the stove or in the microwave.
Serve: Slice the brisket into four oz. portions, and serve with 1/2 cup of baked beans and some carrots from the crock pot.
