The steak: Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak with your desired seasonings or marinade. Cook the steak for 4-6 minutes per side (medium-rare to medium). Adjust the time depending on your preferred doneness. For well done, cook for 2-3 minutes per side. Once cooked to your desired doneness, remove the steak from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Cook the cauliflower rice: If using pre-riced cauliflower, skip to step 2b. If not, remove the florets from a cauliflower head, then pulse in a food processor until it resembles rice grains. Heat 1-2 tbsp of olive oil over medium heat. Add the cauliflower rice and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender—season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cook the vegetables: Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a separate pan over medium heat. Add the green beans and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender—season with salt, pepper, and optional garlic or herbs to taste. For the mushrooms, add them to the same pan (or a different one) and cook for another 5-6 minutes until they release moisture and become tender—season with salt and pepper.
Assemble: Serve the steak with the cauliflower rice and sautéed green beans and mushrooms. Depending on your preference, you can slice the steak or serve it whole.
