Prepare the Cup: If using coconut whip, spread a generous amount around the inner rim of the serving glass for a decorative swirl effect. You can also lightly coat the inside of the glass with a spoon or a piping bag for a more even design.
Wash & Prep Ingredients:
Wash any fresh produce, such as strawberries or bananas, before use.
Remove pits from dates if not already pitted.
Blend the Smoothie:
In a high-speed blender, combine almond milk, frozen strawberries, frozen avocado, banana, pitted dates, liquid sea moss, maple syrup, and vanilla collagen.
If using strawberry butter or jam, add it to the blender at this stage for extra flavor.
Blend Until Smooth:
Blend on high for at least 2 minutes or until the smoothie reaches a creamy, thick consistency. If needed, add more almond milk for a thinner consistency or blend longer for a smoother texture.
Assemble & Serve: Pour the blended smoothie into the prepared cup with the coconut whip-lined rim.
Enjoy immediately for the best experience!
Notes
Adjustments from Erewhon recipe: The stevia is left out because there are already other “sweet” items in here; the hyaluronic acid is also left out, as we don’t have data on the safety of INGESTING during pregnancy (it is safe topically).
Pescatarian/Vegetarian: Use marine collagen or plant-based vanilla protein powder instead.
