Oatmeal Raisin Overnight Oats

Serving Size

1

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp raisins
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Directions

  • In a bowl or mason jar, combine 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats, 1 tablespoon chia seeds, 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt, 1/2 cup milk of choice, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 2 tablespoons raisins, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, and 2 tablespoons maple syrup.
  • Stir well to combine all ingredients, ensuring that the oats are evenly coated with the mixture and the chia seeds are fully incorporated.
  • Cover the bowl or mason jar with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight to allow the oats to soak and absorb the liquid.
  • In the morning, stir the oats again to combine any ingredients that may have settled overnight fully.
  • If the oats are too thick for your preference, add more milk and stir until the desired consistency is reached.
  • Enjoy immediately, or top with additional fruit, nuts, or seeds if desired.
