Hey, Kristen! One of my writers is researching this topic this week actually so we will be adding a note on it in March. She is digging into any research on it and will submit this all to me on Friday so I can provide a better answer then, but I will say this is an algae so more or less like a vegetable (very nutritious) and small amounts are used in smoothies so it likely isn’t anything to be concerned about.
