Hey! Yes, pasteurization just decreases the risk but we have to remember even pasteurized products aren’t 100% guaranteed safe, nor are unpasteurized products guaranteed 100% unsafe or better yet 100% chance of causes food borne illness. And, just to clarify, unless the honey explicitly states raw, it has undergone some form of pasteurization!.
