So, keep in mind, no food is guaranteed “safe or unsafe” – it’s true that some places have better food safety protocols than others. If, for example, this deli isn’t good about keeping their cream cheese refrigerated, there is a higher risk of it growing bacteria. It’s a best judgement call, at the end of the day. If you know and trust this deli, it shouldn’t be a worry.
