Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I join if I’m not pregnant yet?
Yes! Preparing your body with good nutrition before pregnancy is one of the best things you can do for your health and future baby. TPNL is here to support you through every stage—preconception, trying to conceive, pregnancy, and postpartum!
Q: Can I cancel my membership?
Yes. You can cancel at any time! To cancel, go to the platform you originally signed up (e.g., App Store, Google Play, or the TPNL website). Note: deleting the app does not cancel your subscription, nor does unsubscribing from the email updates.
Q: How does the free 7-day trial work?
You can access everything in the app during your free trial. After 7 days, you will be charged unless you cancel.
Q: Can I join if I live outside the U.S.?
Yes! There are no location restrictions. However, meal plans and food recommendations are primarily based on ingredients available in the U.S. Some local substitutions may be necessary.
Q: Can I join this membership if I’m a vegetarian/paleo/gluten-free/dairy-free/etc.?
Yes! Upon joining, you will select from these dietary preferences: standard, vegetarian, pescatarian, dairy-free, nut-free, egg-free, gluten-free, soy-free, shellfish-free, gestational diabetes, and gestational hypertension. You can select multiple dietary preferences (e.g., gluten-free and dairy-free), and your meal plan will be customized accordingly.
Q: Are meal plans included?
Yes! A customized meal plan based on your stage and dietary preferences will be automatically generated weekly. You can change your stage and dietary preferences at any time under your profile settings.
Q: Does a membership include information on gestational diabetes?
YES! You can select “gestational diabetes” as a dietary preference when you sign up, and your meal plan will consist of only GD-friendly meals. As a paying member, you can access our self-paced gestational diabetes course under “resources.”
Q: Can I use my Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA)?
Yes! TPNL is HSA/FSA eligible. However, you may need to double-check with your insurance provider to ensure coverage.
